WARRANTY

All IP Lighting Ltd. Products are carefully inspected and tested before shipping, and are warranted to be free of materials and workmanship defects for a period up to FIVE years depending on each product intended application and intended use and each product’s components life rating such as drivers or power supplies which only its manufacturer warranty will be applicable.

This limited warranty is offered to original purchaser of the products. These products must be install by certified electricians for its designed use and application.

Warranty period starts from our PDCN code regardless of your installation date.

The determination of whether our product is defective shall be at IP Lighting sole discretion with consideration given to the overall performance from its designed L70 value compares to the hours of this fixture been in operation.

A light fixture with multiple LEDs on a PCB or a single COB engine consists of multiple emitters shall not be consider defective solely as a result of the failure of some of its LEDs or emitters to emit light if the number of non-operational LEDs or emitters is less then 10% of the total numbers of LEDs or emitters on the lighting fixture.

This limited warranty void if the product failure caused by: 

  • Negligence, abuse, misuse or mishandling
  • Improper installation, improper storage or improper maintenance
  • Under voltage or over voltage power source
  • Voltage spike or lightning strikes or power line surges
  • Damage due to act of God, vandalism or civil disturbances or riot acts or accidents
  • Unauthorized field alteration and failure to follow installation instructions

Warranty claims must be in writing with proof of purchase and with our PDCN code on the fixture label. IP Lighting Ltd may require you to return the defective product to us freight prepaid for repair or replacement. No product can be return to us without written authorization from IP Lighting Ltd first.

Repaired or replacement product will be send back to you freight prepaid via our choice of freight company and shipping methods.

IP Lighting Ltd reserves the right to use new, reconditioned, refurbished, repaired or remanufactured products or parts in the warranty repair or replacement. These products and parts will be comparable in function and performance to the original product as determined by IP Lighting Ltd and warranted for the remainder of the original warranty period.

IP Lighting will not accept charges for any installation labor, repair labor cost or transportation charges in regards to any defective products.

IP Lighting Ltd responsibility of defective products is limited solely to the replacement or repair of the product and does not include any incidental or consequential damages which may be incurred.

No Warranty, expressed or implied, exists other than described above. No person, agent or distributor has authority to give any other warranty on behalf of IP Lighting Ltd.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

FREIGHT

Freight prepaid per order to most cities on lighting fixtures is $5,000.00 and $10,000.00 on poles or combination of poles and lighting fixtures. IP Lighting Ltd reserves the right to charge freight extra to remote locations in a Territories and Provinces in Canada, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and all other remote Protectorates in North America.

IP Lighting Ltd reserved the right to route shipments on freight prepaid orders via the freight companies we have selected. Shipments can be made via air, or any other manner, when the customer assumes the freight costs for the whole order and submits such a request in writing with the order.


CLAIMS

The title of ownership transfers to purchaser upon delivery to the transportation company. The transportation company assumes responsibility when shipment is picked up at factory dock. Inspect goods upon arrival. All claims for shortages or damages during transportation must be made against the delivering carrier. All other claims, including missing components, must be submitted to IP Lighting Ltd within 10 days of receipt of shipment.


DELIVERY

The scheduled delivery from IP Lighting Ltd is the best approximation of the expected shipping date based on components usual lead-time and availability but it is not a guaranteed shipping date. IP Lighting Ltd shall not be responsible for any direct or indirect damage or loss resulting from delay in shipping. Time of delivery is not the essence of this agreement.


RETURNS

Standard products may be returned only with written consent from IP Lighting Ltd. Return shipments must be in original cartons, with a copy of the Return Authorization document, freight prepaid.

All returns are subject to a minimum of 25% restocking charges, plus any reconditioning costs. Returns due to defective products must be returned for testing with written consent from IP Lighting Ltd.

Custom-made products are non-returnable.


QUOTATIONS

Quotation pricing is valid for 90 days. Any deviation from the original quotation will require a re-quote.


PRICE

All published price are subject to change without notice. Prices exclude all taxes and freight where applicable.


CANCELLATION CHARGES

Custom made or Custom Modified fixtures are non-refundable, and non-cancelable unless written approval is issued by IP Lighting Ltd.

Change to, or cancellation of works in progress, will be subject to costs incurred for work completed.


MINIMUM BILLING ADDITIONS

Minimum billing is $200.00 net per order. Replacement parts are exempt. Additions to orders already received and entered into production will be considered as a new order.


TERMS

Terms are net 30 days from date of invoice. Discount for early payment might be available at our discretion.

2% per month interest will be added to any outstanding amount that is over 30 days.

IP Lighting Ltd does not provide monthly statements. Please pay each invoice independently.


ACCEPTANCE OF ORDERS

IP Lighting Ltd appreciates your orders but we reserve the rights to refuse any orders.

All orders will be on hold until it meets all applicable conditions listed below:

  • All purchase orders must be on your company official purchase order and signed by your company’s authorized purchaser.
  • Project specific purchase orders must include a signed copy of the specification sheet for each item listed on the purchase order.
  • All custom made product will require a 50% deposit at time of order and balance paid in full before shipping.
  • All special modified products will be treated as custom made products.
  • Any order over $50,000.00 will require a 50% deposit at time of order.


DESIGN CHANGES

IP Lighting Ltd reserves the right to change product design, and/or catalog information without prior notification.


ESCALATION OF HOLD ORDERS

Unless otherwise agreed upon, all prices are firm for delivery within six months of receipt of order.

IP Lighting Ltd reserves the right to review and adjust pricing as necessary to reflect increased costs of goods on Hold Orders older than six months.


SALES TAX

All taxes are extra where applicable.
